SEAMS 8 week net based programme

Our exciting new 8 week programme provides clubs, groups and squads the ideal platform from which to develop. At SEAMS Cricket Coaching, we believe in creating fun and challenging environments from which stronger and more resilient performers can evolve. This 8 week programme is net based. But rather than just turn up and hit a few in the middle, why not push your players to perform with more intensity and focus so that when the crunch comes in a game they know they will execute the skill under pressure.

The programme aims to improve players decision making and execution in line with our philosophy of 'train hard, play easy'. If we can’t perform the skill under no pressure, it is unlikely to hold up under more intense scrutiny in a real life match scenario. So this programme provides thought provoking and challenging net scenarios in an attempt to replicate the pressures and constraints imposed by opposing teams in the summer. It is notoriously difficult to recreate match like conditions in club net environments. There is always debate between batters and bowlers as to where the field is, so we look to eliminate that debate by using constraints and outcomes which are measurable rather than subjective.

The full programme includes skill development batting drills along with bowling blocks to ensure focus and intensity is high. The scenario only programme has all 8 weeks but without any skill development batting circuits or bowling blocks.
